Camcide is a project centered around photography and the photographic medium. The action I took involved climbing to the top floor of an abandoned building in a deserted area and throwing a camera out of the building’s last window. Before tossing it, I activated the self-timer to capture the camera’s “last-minute” photo. The shot, taken automatically and randomly, is an image produced by the camera in its final moments before becoming unusable. I developed the color negative film and printed the last frame of the film.
